Cocoa Orange Hazelnut Granola

Ingredients

  • 300 grams Coarse Cut oats
  • 2 tbsp Coconut Oil
  • 1 Orange zest
  • 20 grams Cacao Powder
  • 170 grams Maple Syrup
  • 80 grams Hazelnuts roughly chopped

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 170 degrees celsius. Then line a baking tray with greaseproof paper.
  • Melt the coconut oil, until completely liquid. You can either melt in a microwave or in a pan.
  • In a bowl, mix the oats, maple syrup, coconut oil, orange zest and cacao powder until fully combined and incorporated.
  • Pour this mixture in the prepared baking tray and place in the oven for 10 minutes.
  • Once the 10 minutes has finished, add the hazelnuts to the granola, stir the granola to ensure an even bake and place back in the oven for another 10 minutes.
  • Leave to cool completely in the tray, then decant into an airtight container for you to enjoy!

Notes

If stored in an airtight container, this granola can last up to a month.
